Security of Payment Legislation
ASC is an Authorised Nominating Authority and is the interface between the State Governments and the building and construction industry.
Legislation in reference to payment in the building and construction industry can be used by anyone who undertakes to carry out construction work or related goods and services under a construction contract. The contract, whether verbal or written, entitles you to be paid for carrying out construction work or supplying goods and services to a construction contract. Resolution of payment problems associated with such issues as the following can all be addressed through the legislation:- Original Contract / Variations / Delay Claims / Defective Work Issues / Retention & Bank Guarantees / Back Charges. ASC provides training for adjudicators, accepts adjudication applications, nominates adjudicators and manages the adjudication process from start to finish. We also provide free advice and assistance associated with the understanding and interpretation of the State Acts. |
